All our hats are hand-made to order.

Hats will be despatched by us within 28 days of receipt of order.   If, however your timings are more urgent please contact Monic in advance of placing your order, there may be a small surcharge for a 'rush order'.


Custom Made / Made to Order. We are unable to offer an exchange or refund on goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalised, altered items, items made to order or where the customer has requested specific finishing touches.  All other items may be returned in saleable condition within 14 days of receipt for a full refund. You will be responsible for the cost of returning items.

If your item is damaged in the post, contact us immediately upon receipt and we will pursue the postage company for compensation, and discuss your options to resolve the matter.  Please ensure you keep all packaging to process your claim.

All our hats are hand made, therefore unique and although not significantly different, there will inevitably be small variations, this is not a fault but a sign that your item is uniquely hand made.

If you are a customer in the European Union you have the right to cancel your contract within 14 calendar days from the day after the date you received your order.  This right does not apply to the following items: Items that have been made to the customer’s specification or that are personalised.  In order to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the item, the goods must be handled with due care and be returned in an unworn condition.  If the item has been worn, damaged, you will be liable for any costs due to the diminished value of the item, ie. the cost of repair / refresh will be deducted.  You will be responsible for the cost of returning a cancelled order.

To exercise your right to cancel follow the steps below:

1. Write to us via email (info@monicmillinery.com). Please state that you wish to cancel your contract and include your full name, address, email address and order number, you will be provided with a cancellation form to download. 
2. Return the items by post at your own cost and no later than 14 calendar days after the day that you sent the Cancellation Form
3. We will refund to you the price paid for the items and the delivery charges that you paid. You will be refunded to your original method of payment within 14 calendar days of receipt of the cancelled items.

Please note that colours may vary due to screen resolution or or suppliers fabric batches.  This is not classed as faulty or a defect. 

Your statutory rights are not affected.

Please ensure you are ordering the correct size as exchanges are not permitted.

Security / Payment Methods

We take internet security issues seriously and are committed to ensuring your information is stored and handled safely and privately. We accept all major credit cards which are handled by Stripe, we do not keep any records of your payment details.

Additional information

MonicMillinery reserves the right to make small changes to a product as deemed fit, this will not affect the appearance, workmanship or significantly change the appearance of the item.

MonicMillinery retains all copyright on custom design orders and may choose to resell custom designs.

Intellectual Property

No permission is given by Monika Grzybowska in respect of the reproduction or use for injurious or commercial purposes of any brand names, product names, designs and any other material shown on the www.monicmillinery.com website in which intellectual property rights subsist.
